INFINITY TV Instructions

1. Go to settings > My Fire TV

2.(click the About button 7 times 

And developer options will appear)

3. Open developer options

4. Turn on apps from Unknown Sources

5. Go back to the Settings page

6. Open Preferences >Privacy settings

7. Disable Device Usage Data

8. Disable Collect App Usage Data

9. Go to the Home Screen of the Firestick

10. Search for & download “Downloader” Application

11. Open Downloader Application and type out

12. Enter username and password (Cap Sensitive)

Effective immediately  all customers will need to use version 4 of the infinity app


If you log out of a previous version  you will NOT be able to log back in


Any previous version will be discontinued


You do not have to uninstall any previous version but it is suggested

It is important to be using NEW firesticks   4K and up  (available at amazon, taget, best buy etc)

with changing technology  version 4 may not work with OLDER devices

If getting 921 error  just keep trying to log in 


if using an older app 3.0 or lower  you can install version 4 without having to uninstall any older version

As you all know we had to migrate to a new Software company for TV Service Dec 1st, the company we picked did not work as expected and a lot of people had problems with the app, as we tried to fix the problem we worked on other Software to move to at the same time that works the way our service used to, we have finally switched over as of January 8th at 4AM, with this switch we have also designed a new app for customers, it is still called the same, you can Install it without losing the app you already have, you will see two apps with same name on your Fire Sticks-INFINITY, they will look different once logged in so you know what app is what. To install the new app just go to Downloader app and type in https://installs.cf/infinity4 to get the new app, to get your login and password for the app you can login to your billing account on our website, click on Services, click on your Subscription and you will see details of your app login, here is direct link to it as well [App Login Info](https://infinityclientarea.com/mkiyoHdfG/login.php?redirect=%2FmkiyoHdfG%2Findex.php) Sorry for all the troubles, this was not an intentional move, the company we used before ran out of business and we had to try to find the best Software we could to get you back up and running, worst part it was all during the holidays so we do understand your frustration. On the old app with us moving only problem we have seen is Live Tv Favorites would go blank and only way to clear it is to clear app data, to do this go to your Fire Stick Settings, Applications, Application Manager, find our app and clear data and log back in, all Favorites on Live TV should be cleared now.  Do Not be concerned with expiration date as when you pay invoice it will be corrected, or submit a ticket in the CLIENT AREA and i will fix


I will keep my website updated. There you will find answers to many questions so you will use that for answers FIRST before reporting or submitting a support ticket in the client area.  Your Client Area is where you will contact me if you need anything going forward,  NO more texts, calls, emails.  It is important to use the client area for what is was designed for  and my website for information.  This will save everyone involved a lot of time.

WHEN there is an issue with the DATA CENTER   there is nothing we can do until THEY resolve the issue  just like if you have an issue with your internet  calling will not resolve  so if there is something wrong  we know   you do not have to tell us

Favorites not working

CLEAR DATA    write down your app user pass  as you will have to enter this in the app again


Go to Settings on your Fire Device. Select Applications . In Manage Installed Applications, select the app you are having trouble with (INFINITY). Select Clear Cache, and then Clear Data.

then log back in  and re do favs  as channel numbers have changed  original favs will no longer work


I FORGOT MY APP USER PASS

Log into your Client Area    Click Services    Click your Service  There is your app user pass   so you do not need to ask me


MOVES SERIES   USE VLC PLAYER

VLC If an issue use VLC for VOD

How to add External Player, Go to Amazon Store it has it right in store, home screen, use search top left side, type in vlc player to find it, download and install it, go to Infinity app Settings And Add External Player, after that go to Player selection and Add VLC to Movies, Series, Catchup, you are now all set to play any movie or series on the app



AT&T

If you have AT&T   Turn off your Internet Security when you have issues such as expired or invalid

AT&T blocks IPS and APPS    This will solve that issue


BUFFERING


Please do not report buffering is it is NOT from service side and there is NOTHING I CAN DO


Service works on 1 Ip address at a time  so make sure only logged in on 1 ip address


If you have T-Mobile for internet  they change ip addresses all of the time  so log out of the Infinity app on all devices  then log back in one at a time   repeat when needed


If you have AT&T for internet  make sure internet security is OFF


Buffering  most likely you are being throttled   this mainly can happen at night  youtube Hulu Netflix are not streaming but from hard drives and have there ip addresses white listed by internet providers


When an internet provider sees a lot of bandwidth being used to a non whitelisted ip address  they will throttle the speed  up down  up down  causing buffer freeze   it should not happen during the day


you can use a vpn  which changes your Ip address and will not be throttled  but leep in mind you can use service on 1 Ip address at a time  so can only use 1 device if using a VPN


you can try restarting your router  and restart devices   but if being throttled by your internet provider there is nothing i can do to help from my end
